How Connect subscribers can now save up to 30 percent – Says FNB

Save as much as 30 percent on a once off data bundle purchase for prepaid, postpaid top-up and flexi top-up packages using Connect Sim card by First National Bank (FNB)

Those changes will come into effect this week, as FNB tries to provide what it believes will be cost-effective solutions for its customers. FNB Connect repriced its data bundles this week.

“This is part of our long-term commitment to minimise the burden of high data costs for our customers. We believe that this timely cost-savings will help customers save while making sure every rand goes a long way,” said Chief Commercial Officer of FNB Connect, Shadrack Palmer.

FNB is of the opinion that its latest announcement on data prices reinforces the campaign to offer more value for money. Data has become a necessity in an increasingly global community.

“Data is increasingly becoming a necessity and a lifestyle enabler for many consumers,” added Palmer.

“Over the years, we’ve seen ascendancy in data usage and demand to challenge the dominance of voice packages. We firmly believe that this trend will continue as smartphone penetration continues to deepen in South Africa, and the integration of FNB Connect gives us the competitive edge to innovate on a greater scale through the use of vast big data capabilities from within FNB,” he said.
